Article summary
Child labour in India is deeply rooted problems with systemic poverty,
underemployment, and low level education. Despite economic growth, millions of
vulnerable children are forced into informal and unorganised sectors like service
sector, commercial sector, agriculture and manufacturing. This paper examines socio
economic aspect of child labour in commercial area of Gorakhpur city.
