Peer-Review Model
The journal uses Peer-reviewed and refereed as its standard model. Identities are protected as far as practicable, but anonymity cannot be guaranteed where a manuscript or public preprint reveals authorship.
- Submission check: file integrity, journal identity, authorship and basic completeness.
- Editorial screening: scope, originality, ethics, scholarly quality and suitability for external review.
- Reviewer selection: independent reviewers with relevant subject or methodological expertise.
- Review: comments on contribution, method, analysis, presentation and references.
- Revision: authors respond point-by-point and submit a clearly revised manuscript.
- Decision: accept, revise, reject or seek additional review. The editor makes the final decision.
- Production: metadata verification, formatting, author proof and publication checks.
Independence and Conflicts
Editors and reviewers must disclose conflicts. A submission by an editor, board member or publisher-affiliated author is handled by an independent editor wherever practicable. Payment status is not considered in peer-review decisions.
