Abstract: Women’s empowerment has become a crucial aspect of sustainable development and social progress. Skill development plays a vital role in empowering women by enhancing their capabilities, improving their employability, and enabling them to participate actively in economic and social activities. Through vocational training, technical education, and entrepreneurship development programs, women can gain financial independence and decision-making power within their families and communities. Skill development not only provides women with income-generating opportunities but also helps in reducing gender inequality and poverty. Governments, non-governmental organizations, and private institutions around the world have implemented various initiatives aimed at improving women’s access to education, training, and employment opportunities. These programs focus on developing skills in areas such as handicrafts, digital literacy, agriculture, small-scale industries, and service sectors. By equipping women with practical knowledge and competencies, skill development contributes to their self-confidence, social recognition, and leadership abilities. Moreover, empowered women contribute significantly to national economic growth and community development. Therefore, promoting skill development among women is essential for building an inclusive society where women can achieve their full potential and actively contribute to social and economic transformation.
